It all stems from there.

Reading their quotes, you would never imagine they've only won a single round. I would easily think this is a dynasty with 4+ cups.

#3 is the runner-up but more because Keefe is a major reason for the team falling apart in the past. Tactically rubbish.

How did a team with a .500 record ever manage to get four players elected to the all star game?

As unbelievable as it is I actually think the Bieber jersey's are the least repulsive of these options. At least the jersey's can be reversed. Everything else is set in stone.

God knows the piss poor attitudes of the players and coach won't ever change.

Lack of accountability is the calling card for the privileged entitled. Blaming someone else helps them sleep better at night I guess. Well one more loss and these guys and their ego's should all be getting a real wake-up call.

Especially Keefe and his whole "shit happens" attitude.

To be honest Keefe's not wrong. Shit does happen. And it just so happens that the shit happening with this team is in no small part caused by the stinky old turd behind the bench.

No matter what excuse these guys come up with a 21-21 record is shit happening any way you slice it.

1st I didnt know leafs had made a record. havent heard it so no comments.
2nd I dont care if the players think they are all that, as long as they live up to it.

The most abominable thing is the 'A' on that punk Marner. I wanna puke every time I see it.

The first real tell will come when we see what happens with Tavares when his contract is up.
Do they walk away and retool in a different fashion, or do the overpay him, then Marner and try to do the same things again.
That will be the first reality check.

Like it or not, Marner is probably getting $12mil plus. I think they walk from Tavares. Even at $4mil/year I wouldn’t keep him, he is a sloth

I agree. We currently spend 40 million on 4 forwards. When all is said and done (with a new Marner contract), we will probably be paying 37/38 for 3.
 
It's obviously the players opions. You really can't complain about their record they're in a playoff position with a couple of games in hand. The recent play is worthy of compaint and Marner's comments of recent play is definetely wrong.

hh but the % cap hit at the time of signing was fine, so there you go . An argument ignoring the term we hear all the time..

Plus JT is getting $8M, we'll pay $45M for the same quartet

No, I just understand that crying incessantly in multiple threads isn't going to change anything.
There is a least a 1/2 dozen threads whining about the same things.
 
The team's record will at least determine what they can or cannot be (a playoff team).
