Certainly had a large part in it yesI guess it's because of Eugene Melnyk, who's of Ukranian descent and never liked Russians much

That might be part of the reason why they have won 1 Cup since 1940...Rangers don’t go for Canadians that much

I mean, it’s not even really true. Three of our best young players (Lafreniere, Schneider, Cuylle) are drafted Canadian. Then you have drafted first round pick Othmann on the verge of the league on a full time basis. And another drafted Canadian on the NHL team in Rempe. That might be part of the reason why they have won 1 Cup since 1940...
You don't appreciate an easy joke ?I mean, it’s not even really true. Three of our best young players (Lafreniere, Schneider, Cuylle) are drafted Canadian. I would say since Drury brought in John Lilley to run our draft we don’t draft many Europeans. Americans is who we draft the most. Other than that and few Europeans (and virtually nobody with any skill from Europe after the Kravtsov snafu), it’s pretty uniform in taking BPA from wherever.
Lafreniere, Schneider, Cuylle, Othmann, Garand, Rempe, Robertson are all Canadian. And that’s just 2 drafts.Rangers don’t go for Canadians that much
I got your joke. Had no issue with it.You don't appreciate an easy joke ?
I guess with Drury it’s turning aroundLafreniere, Schneider, Cuylle, Othmann, Garand, Rempe, Robertson are all Canadian. And that’s just 2 drafts.
Quoting the right posting would avoid any misunderstanding...I got your joke. Had no issue with it.
Was more referring to @KirkAlbuquerque's post, which I don't think was completely accurate.
