Which Canadian team left is most likely to win the Stanley Cup

Have LA ever advanced passed 1st round the last 5 years?? Also they kept losing to Oilers so it just means they arent a playoff team or top contender like Vegas.

No. They've lost to the Oilers in the first round four years in a row, and the year before that (2021, the divisional season) they missed the playoffs entirely.

I've said it before on an account pre-server wipe, I would LOVE an all Canadian final. I know the NHL execs would hate it but I wanna see Oilers vs Leafs and I'd settle for Jets vs Leafs.

If I gotta pick one it's gonna be Edmonton. They were so close last year and while I don't think they've made the best changes I still feel like they're good enough to win.

I thought the Oilers were going to get bounced in the first round this year. Just seemed out of gas. But they look great.

Hully just can’t seem to get it done and was lucky to be going to the 2nd round.

Leafs look really solid. They have a real shot at the final.

I actually think we could see Edmonton vs Toronto. I’m going with the Oilers because their two superstars are unreal.

Once Toronto ends Florida, I like our chances of at least making it to the final.

And we are something like 14-1 against Dallas in the Matthews era, we always beat Edmonton, we own the Jets, and we play well against Vegas.

If we beat Florida, I like our chances
Another guy who thinks regular season Oilers and playoff Oilers are the same team 😆

Oilers look like the best team to do it. East seems wide open for Toronto, but it's a long series and let's see how Florida bounces back. I don't have a lot of faith in Jets. It was a huge game 7 win, but they were 2 seconds away from being eliminated.

Toronto has more to prove than Edmonton. They have to go deep with the Stanley cup champs. They looked good in game 1 but Florida almost came back. Oilers were two shots away from winning the cup last year and for some reason everyone forgot that.

Did you read my first sentence?

Jets also unfortunately seem like they got themselves really banged up by letting that series go 7. We'll see how things go in game 1 but I don't like a bruised Jets team to take out a Stars team that I have as the cup favorite right now.

No and Edmonton has a lot to do with that. You can't just dismiss the fact that them proving to be one of the best defensive teams in the regular season only for the same personnel to get steamrolled by Edmonton's offense is a good look on Edmonton unless you're deliberately just trying to not give them credit

Right now? Its extremely close. All 3 teams stumbled pretty bad in their playoff series at one point. I would probably say Edmonton if Ekholm was healthy. I honestly don't know.

Half the country's population would die from heart attacks.

If they beat us I vote for separation because it would be so f***ing insufferable LOL

I never claimed otherwise. ;) That said, I did say "IT" would be insufferable...as in the situation. Especially with the media. Not anyone in particular. And if you read around the boards you will hardly find me one to be going around just starting shit.

I'm a Jets fan and I would like to see them win but if Toronto or the Oilers win that's fine . Want to see the Cup North Of The Border

I'm going with Oilers if any of them do. I don't think the Jets get by the Stars, Toronto? I'm not sure, getting by Florida will be difficult

I said it before and I'll say it again. This genuinely looks like Toronto's year.
If any year is their year it’s this one. Their path is much easier than previously. Take advantage of it. Edm though is battle tested and has a ton of vets and experience. The west is a gauntlet right now. If they can’t get out if it I can’t see them losing.
