USA has the best defense and goaltending in my opinion. Canada has the best offense, although USA is extremely close.

I'll take Canada's offense as well as their blueline over the other teams every day.

The defense is big, physical, experienced and there's a good reason so many of them have Cup rings. I've already said a lot about goaltending in other threads but regardless, in a short tournament any one of these guys can get hot, or ice cold.

My hunch is we're going to have a few high-scoring games and it's going to come down to the top-end talent scoring the big goals. In which case I'm glad Mack, McDavid & Sid are on my side.

USA simply because of the difference in net. Hellebuyck is capable of highway robbery and the rest of the team is not that much worse than Team Canada.
