Would have never traded for Ballard more like it. Would still have Grabner. Imagine this though:

Edler-Luc
Schultz-Tanev
Hamhuis-Bieksa

In no order but wow.

Still remember the morning that he died and just not being able to believe it. RIP Luc.

And yeah who knows how things would have turned out but I can imagine if all went right that he would fit into our top 4 perfectly.

At least one of the Ballard trade or Hamhuis acquisition would not of happened and I dont know about Garrison so it would be completely different. We may of decided to keep Ehrhoff over Bieksa, just so many variables.

RIP Luc

Bottom pairing d-man. Big guy with a hard shot but he was an average skater with bad hockey sense.

What?

Bourdon's mobility was limited a bit after his ankle injury but he still had high end speed and used it to break up plays at the NHL level (often plays developing out of his own mistakes, unfortunately).. Even after the injury he was a very mobile player - just not the elite skater he was projected to be.

Calling him average in that respect is.. I don't even know.

Let the poor kid rest in peace for ****'s sake.

Not to get into metaphysics here but I doubt a message board topic is disturbing Luc's "rest."

Instead of crying to the mods to close threads you don't like, how about don't open the thread if it upsets you so much. Quit being dramatic. I know you think you're supposed to be offended so everybody can see you have delicate sensibilities, but it's a hockey forum and that was a hockey question. It's obvious nobody is trying to disrespect Bourdon. Find something else to complain about.

Maybe you could just move on instead of going all Snarkfest '13 on posters whose posts you disagree with.
