I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm waiting for the Bob and Jim DVD, so I can enjoy the game. Sadly, I wasn't in much of a mood to enjoy it. At noon Friday my one year old nephew passed away unexpectantly. I was at my sister's place for most of the game and only got home to see both OTs. I didn't cheer or even smile when they won, I watched the post game coverage stonefaced. I can't wait to see the game on happier terms. I like to think that despite my nephew barely being an angel, that he helped AMart score the OT goal. My nephew was saying, please don't be sad Uncle, I made your day end on a happy note.

Oh man, my condolences. I don't even know you but the story made me tear up. Prayers go out you and your family.

It's always tough when someone you know and love passes on and I can't begin to imagine how difficult it must be when it's a child.



But I do think your nephew did help AMart a.k.a "Jazz Hands" put that puck in the net.

Thank you for the kind words from everyone. On a topic related note, I ordered the Cup Champs locker room hat and shirt, a penant with the on-ice team pic, the BluRay when released, the official game program, the 2014 Cup Finals patch and the inspirational pic of JDub. I also had ordered the locker room hat (which I am still waiting for grr) and shirt for the West Champs and I also snagged a second shirt Next...the Cup. I also have copies of the Saskatoon paper and Globe and Mail. I still need a Daily News and a LA Times from Saturday and a Times from today. I also assume that Sportsnet Magazine will put out a Kings cover and I am hoping Sports Illustrated does, but with the Spurs beating Lebron, I doubt it. I also intend to buy (or get as giffs for my birthday in July) the commemorative books that are published. Lastly, I will make sure to buy the 2014-15 NHL Guide and Record Book with Brownie on the cover.

I am so sorry. My best friend's sister's son passed away suddenly last year. There are no words to describe this kind of tragedy.

FYI for fellow Canadian Kings fans in the Hamilton/Toronto area. Just grabbed a locker room hat at a Hockey Life near my house. They just got them in today.

Cost was $34.95 excluding HST.

I asked them about other merchandise and they said that the hats are the only thing they will be getting in.

At least buying the hat locally will help reduce costs for shipping and additional import charges.

I picked up 3 shirts and 2 hats from bootleggers at the parade. I passed on the banners thinking I'd see that guy again and didn't. For $3, I should've nabbed a few of them. Speaking of Nabbed, Brayden McNabb's name is listed on two of the bootleg shirts I bought. I thought that was kinda odd. The quality of the screen prints was much better in 2014 versus 2012.

Deal of the day was the $5 hat I scored walking out. It is snapback with a embroidered crown and "2014 Stanley Cup Champs" written on it.

I'm not a fan of the official Stanley Cup shirt.

I think I prefer this over the official shirt.
