With the shootout turning it into utter crap. After OT ends:
"now its a crapshoot" - Dano
But there's no OT in the playoffs.
Did you even watch the game? The McLeod line was probably the second best line last night next to Nico's.
But sure, they should come out for someone who is now on his fifth team but is Damon's fishing buddy.
If we keep this up, I don’t see us getting knocked out anytime soon unless we run into that type of goaltending..I don’t really like to go into this because anyone can beat anyone in this league, but if they replicate how they played last night, they’ll win.
In fact, if they played like that every night, they’d win most of their games. It was that big of a domination.
the rangers didn’t need a flashy play making, defensively weak winger. there was no team building thought into it, purely a case of a star whining his way onto one specific team. we’ll see if it helps them
Sharon definitely needs some bench time.. his gaff just prior to the LV goal that tied it at 2-2 was crucial momentum swing… and not finishing Jacks set ups have been well documented
Just prior to that. His gaffe? Seems like there was another player along the boards who went timidly after a loose puck.

Yeah, it was Sharangovich. He failed to get the puck in deep in the neutral zone and caused a turnover, he then lost his battle along the wall to Eichel. His gaffe? Seems like there was another player along the boards who went timidly after a loose puck.
My buddy will be there rooting us on.What’s also intriguing me about tomorrow is how many of the “4,600” will be in attendance supporting us…
When Boston went out there, it was f***ing surreal. Like visually looked worse than the pops of Rags fans at the Rock in game 5, 2008.

i don’t think we’re the same as the rangers. getting meier was a perfect execution of team building. we need a big bodied scoring winger and we got the best one available.

Don’t forget we’re also adding… TIMO. I really think dude is gonna mesh extremely well with Hughes/Bratt. If he finishes 50% of the chances Rango gets with these 2, we’re golden.Let’s put last night’s result to bed.
I can’t believe how wonderfully cohesive this unit is. This might already be better than the 2012 team, granted we still have a stretch run to the playoffs…
I’m just really, really like, ok, “is this what it was like being an adult paying attention to this team night-in-night-out in 2000-03?” (aka when I was 5-8 years old and only understood getting hands on the Cup).

I’d imagine you’re talking about Hughes, but Barbashev basically blocked his path and high sticked him in the process. That goal was 100% on Rango.
Your bias against Jack/Bratt is unfortunate given the very good seasons they’ve given us.

Yep that’s the Sharon play I was referring to..
Just so you realize how hot Ingram has been recently... 1 legit bad game in 7 with that AHL D in front of him? He's very capable of pulling what we just saw.

1 - As for Sharangovich here comes an unpopular comment: Bench him but do not give up quickly. He is mental right now, it can be rectified. This is just the type of player that can take you on a deep run or bring you home a Stanley Cup with some tie up or OT goals if he catches fire. He can be a beast and his deadly wrist shot can come back if this is handled properly.
2 -Just because Timo is coming into the lineup does not mean wee win more. In fact of 35 years of watching hockey I have noticed it is more often the opposite. Hockey is all about chemistry. The NJDs might roll into a tail spin. Not saying I do not like him or he shouldn't help. Hate to be the messenger but this is a fact. Chemistry.
3-I remember going through an era where McMullen taunted us with moving the Devils to TN, and will never forget Nordique fans coming to our games trying prove a point they were better fans. I feel for the die hard Phoenix fans and hope everything works out with their new arena. It is heart breaking to see die hard sports fans lose their teams.

Yes, the feeling is back. It’s been so long…Let’s put last night’s result to bed.

Zetterlund is way more valuable because he has 4 more years of team control and Sharangovich only has 2. I'd be surprised if that really got anywhere.
