Top 3 in playoff points now? With 8 points in his last 2 games, dudes lighting it up. Mack benefited a lot more from him than some people would like to admit.

Well sure playing with elite talent helps anybody. The Avs miss an elite finisher and Mikko's shot on the right wing especially on the PP.

I'm taking Mikko in a game 7 any day over Mack. But overall MacKinnon is clearly the better player.

This is why you pony up for guys who bring it in the playoffs. Rantanen is a big time difference maker, and just added a huge chunk to his growing legend tonight. Still in awe of a third period hatty plus an assist in a game 7 comeback win again the team that traded him. About as clutch as it gets.

Of course the whole Dallas team doesn't score a lot, and their scoring leader is defenseman with 3 points in 4 games. Still, Rantanen is paid to be a leader, and he isn't to put it mildly.
