Outside of Mogilny, none of these players had peaks near Rantanen's (which may not even be over).
You do realize Rantanen just had back to back 100 point seasons including a 55 goal year, right? And that he's got one of the best playoff resumes amongst active players.
He's got one Cup already, there's a fair chance he adds another to that within the next several years (and as the best forward on his team this time), and he's not even 30 yet.
You've picked a strange argument and an even stranger way to argue it. Every box that players typically need to get into the HOF, Rantanen has already checked off most of them.
Maybe what you're trying to argue is that he shouldn't be a first ballot HOFer? There, maybe you've got a point. He hasn't won any major awards and doesn't seem likely to. But his projected career totals and playoff success alone will get him there.
