That's the worst part. I wasn't even upset with the trade given the info concerning the salary negotiations. If he'd signed for 14mil, I could at least accept it. But doing all this at 11.5 mil ist just the icing on the cake.

We'll find out. Only one of them can make it to the SCF. Unless their teams somehow make it there anyway in spite of them going cold, they're the early favorites for their respective teams for the Conn Smythe. That'll answer the question for us.

I suppose it's technically possible to award the Conn Smythe to someone whose team was eliminated in the conference finals since it's the MVP award for the entirety of the playoffs, but that's never happened, and that's one of the last things I'd expect to happen.
