What about Hellybuck doing the right thing, and sitting on the bench, then not being the worst goalie of all time in OT?involved in the last 9 goals, this is the biggest redemption ive seen in NHL, it was scary.
Or taking huge shyte on Avs bench, because that´s what it felt like when he suddenly started shooting goals. The only thing missing was Mikko taking a huge clapper in the empty net.
You actually had the nerve to say his stats were boosted by Lehkonen though lmao. Credibility has kinda been thrown out of the window for you hereHe wasn't doing fine when I posted that but nice snipe. I'm rooting for him but if he goes back to doing nothing I'll be around.

Over 2 ppg in elimination games! There has been a lot of talk about why Rantanen didn't play this well in Colorado when it mattered the most, so I had to go back and check the statistics for the Avs playoff games for the past two seasons. During that time, Colorado played a total of five elimination games (2x Kraken, 1x Jets, 2x Stars). In those five games, Rantanen had...
- One game-winning goal.
- One game-tying goal and the sole assist to the game-winning goal in the same game.
- Two times the Avs' lone goal in a 2-1 losing effort.
Yeah, Rantanen might've been playing lazy for the past few years, but it's pretty undeniable he has always delivered to at least some degree when it matters the most. This is the kind of thing all GMs are willing to pay good money for (except for MacFarland, apparently). With all this talk about the Avs playoff disappointments and Rantanen not being good enough and there not being enough cap space because of generational players like MacKinnon and Makar, one could almost ask the question: Where the hell were those guys in these five games?
If you add this season to the equation, during the past three years Rantanen has played 7 elimination games with a statline of 9+6=15.

absolutely. have already commented on multiple other threads that as an opposing fan that kind of performance involved a lot of flukey irreplicable plays that wouldn't worry me at all. not to mention at the very least he'd be down to only 9-10 points without the empty netsIs it still how it is?
So he'd be at his normal over PPG pace he was at but without McKinnon carrying him.absolutely. have already commented on multiple other threads that as an opposing fan that kind of performance involved a lot of flukey irreplicable plays that wouldn't worry me at all. not to mention at the very least he'd be down to only 9-10 points without the empty nets
he may still prove us wrong but he hasn't so far
Will need to see a >1.2 pace for the next 33 playoff games to be certain. So he'd be at his normal over PPG pace he was at but without McKinnon carrying him.
And 11 of the last 12 goals. Insaneinvolved in the last 9 goals, this is the biggest redemption ive seen in NHL, it was scary.
