I don't understand the hype around Rantanen. Forget the talks about MacK, he is obviously a product of Hintz & Granlund..

Take MacKinnon and Makar away from Colorado and Heiskanen + Robertson from Dallas. Pretty clear who the better team is and it’s really not close

Of course the whole Dallas team doesn't score a lot, and their scoring leader is defenseman with 3 points in 4 games. Still, Rantanen is paid to be a leader, and he isn't to put it mildly.

Dallas just has better coaching. There's a reason why older declining players like Pavelski, Benn, Seguin, and Duchene are putting up numbers like they're 5 years younger.

Makar was definitely M.I.A. and frankly could have been about as impactful if he had just appeared by Zoom.

Being from Sweden we have this special relationship with Finland and you know what I mean

But damn that was an impressive game from Rantanen !!!

Makar and McKinnon in the other team but getting the focus like that with those guys in the other team is unbelievable .

His shares are higher now than ever - can he continue like this ? I am not sure what will follow , but I think he is in a very good enviroment with finnish players around him and Dallas has so many threats that it is hard to keep track of them all - so it is in a way easier for a guy like him to shine - This migh very well be Dallas year, and Rantanens !

Yes. Many players use cutlon and in Finland in couple teams everyone need to use those. There are also these as socks and neck protectors. Socks are common, neck not as much.

True. He shut people up and they should acknowledge his performance. I was ragging on him, and I have been silenced and I'd take that any day of the week than to be right.
