Probably the Islanders or Canucks will be trading for him...

This made you feel good eh. They're 8 points out of a playoff spot with a game in hand and 50 games left to play. They've managed to hang around without their first line center and one of their top 2 d men out the entire season except for 5 games in which they had a winning record. They've since lost their other top centerman and multiple other top 6 forwards for long stretches. Their starting goalie also missed the first 10 games of the season. Dispute this they are in the top half of all the advanced metrics in the league while having close to an even goal differential. How many other teams survive this?

It's not over yet. It's not likely because the east is so strong but it's not over they won't be selling anytime soon.

You're in every Buffalo and Ottawa thread constantly shitting on both teams. It's sad.

You do it thread in thread out. Like I said it's sad/pathetic.

Talking about the reality of the situation is not the same as shitting on teams.

You can livein your world of denial all you want but the reality is the Sens are last in the Atlantic, it would take a magical run to get back into the race and this team doesn't appear capable of that.

Now tell me where did I lie?

Wouldn't be opposed to having him back next year. Depends on what teams offer, I guess, but for a million bucks or whatever it would take, it's good depth next year.

50 games left 8 points out with a game in hand. Winning record when they have their top 3 d men in. It's not over yet. What's truly sad/pathetic is you didn't even start this thread because you care where Hamonic may get traded. You did it to make yourself feel good shitting on Ottawa. The post i reaponded to exposed you. Why didn't you respond to the post below?
They had a poor first 15 games, and they have had a pile of injuries.

6-3-1 in their last 10
9-5-1 in their last 15
7-3-0 with both Chabot and Zub healthy

Staying healthy and playing at a similar pace over the next 26 game puts them around 65-70 points at the deadline. That still out of a wild card spot, but close enough that they could stay in the picture and consider themselves a chance.

There is no need to respond to that post because the person that wrote it said themselves that even if they kept a similar pace up they would be at 65-70 points and they said themselves that's not enough, they agreed with me there is no real discussion to be had if we agree.

Are you serious? We can read the post....

That's the opposite of agreeing with you...... You didn't respond because it showed what they are capable You are suggesting they are already out which they aren't.

Why not discuss the team you cheer for they're playing well. Instead you resort to this sad pathetic behavior.

I discuss them too, quite a lot actually but just because you have a problem with it, doesn't mean I won't discuss other teams.

You don't have to like that I'm going to discuss other teams but you do have to accept it.

If he got moved at the deadline - you’re looking at a second or third I’d imagine.

That being said - like Bert said above, Sens Aren‘t out of it yet.

Sens should not be selling. I don't think they make it after their poor first 15 or so games but giving it a good run is worth more to the team than getting meaningless 2nd and 3rd round picks.

You want that all-in mindset figured out in the room this year, don't try to figure it out at the start of next year. The lax mindset of rebuilding clubs is hard to shake and they need to do it this year.

I'd love to say Winnipeg because he's one of my favourite players, but considering the Jets could have had Hammer before and valued Tucker Poolman more than him, I'm not sure he's high on their list. I'm going to say Minnesota because I don't think Calen Addison is ready for the playoffs yet.

Yeah no. Calen addison is staying in lineup. Guerin wouldn't trade for Travis because they got two top d prospects including brock Faber coming before season end and they intend to play him

Senators were something like 14 points out one year at Valentine’s Day, and made the playoffs, hamburgler.

As a sens fan I would like to extend him. Something like 2m x 2 yrs.

If trade ? I want a second rounder back . Main selling point is he is a right shot who belongs in the NHL as a #5D. He hasn’t look super bad as a #4 in ottawa.

I know, I remember that but the reason why we remember that is because It's something that happens for a team once.

The Blues did it too but even that is almost 4 years ago, the Sens run was a few years before that It's got to be close to a decade for that Sens run if It's not already.

All I'm saying is realistically they are done.

You couldn't have started this thread on the main boards then? Had to masquerade it as a Hamonic post? Declaring a teams season is finished with 50 games to go when they're 8 points out?

It's about as genuine as someone else starting a fire Keefe thread because they won't get out of the first round as we know it won't happen because they haven't won a playoff round for 19 years.

The schedule for the next 26 games is quite different than their previous 15 games. But anything is possible.

I don't see how Hamonic takes Addison's place as a #1 PP/3rd pairing PMD. They have other guys to pair with him for SAH duties. He simply doesn't fit a need on the team either now, or in the future.

Addison played 3 playoff games in 20-21. He did fine.

Faber will sign late, more than likely, because the Gophers are highly likely to go far in the post season....they are ranked #2 in NCAA hockey right now. That will make Faber ineligible for the post season, and all, but possibly a handful of games in the NHL.

I also don't see Hamonic being a need, but not because of Faber, who, even if he was eligible(slim chance), would be an untested rookie trying to adapt to a far higher level of play.
