Fair. But they also signed him to an ELC season before moving to Winnipeg. And he played for their AHL affiliate.

Great interview. Him and Stapleton seem to have a great rapport. Blake expects commitment from his teammates which is too much for certain others who like to be coddled.

Maybe HannuJ? Sometimes he gets worked up over things that wouldn't set me off but I know the guy somewhat and he's a pretty cool dude so I'm not going to diss his POV.

Maybe. Seemed super cool then he'd fly off the handle about some little thing. Could also have been something personal, I tend to rub some people the wrong way. Like wheeler (see how I brought that back on topic lol)

Really enjoyed the interview. Thanks for posting the link. Blake comes across as a down to earth, solid guy. People shouldn't confuse criticism of his hockey play/utilization/leadership/etc with criticism of him as a human being. They are two separate things.

Agreed, criticism of Wheeler as a human being should have its own dedicated thread.
