The only game I saw in person in Montreal was the first time Pittsburgh played at the Forum (1967-68). I have been to many games at Maple Leaf Gardens and the Air Canada Centre. I have been to games and drafts at the Aud in Buffalo and the new arena.

The playoff game against the bruins with the Subban out of the box goal, was WOW
I didn't even pay my ticket that day
Can still hear the sound of it even if I mute this video

Only been once. Was a Saturday night vs the Leafs. Subban won it with an OT one timer bomb from the point on a PP and they won 4-3!

What a night.

Memory of a lifetime that was. Quite a few shots of the crowd. You ever try to pick yourself out? I remember seeing Brian Mulroney in the crowd
I never did... now I'm worried I'm going to spend the next day scrutinizing old video clips to find myself as a kid!

Man... I've seen plenty of Cups, but that goal by Subban still probably makes my top-10 memories!

same series, game 4 then game 6 vs the bruins 2004.
Game 4 due to kovalev blunder that cost the game in double overtime. I literally not sleep the whole night in agony., thinking season as good as over trailing 3-1 in series.
And game 6 then partying like crazy when we crushed the bruins

Yup, definitely not a good memory. I was only 11 in 1976, at school all my class mates were overhyped waiting for series to start. I can remember being down early in Game 1. Reggie Leach. I thought oh no, the Flyers were a good team.

The most memorial games to me were at the Forum. I went to see a playoff game against the Hartford Whalers in 91-92 (my one and only playoff game). The other game that I'll never forget was against the Red Wings playing their last game against the Habs in the Forum. It so happened to be the last game Patrick Roy played for the Habs.

I worked at the Bell Centre for two years in the mid 2000s. THE most memorable one I was at during that time was the 5-0 comeback vs the Rangers. Beating Boston in game 7 in the first round that same year (I think?) was also insane. The crowd was just so loud.

Not counting games I was working for, I was also at this game:

The memory of the two players skating into each other and both giving up on the play is extremely vivid.

I too was at that game when Kovalev got injured.

I was also at the game when he lost his glove against Boston then came back to pick it up without losing the puck. A 8-2 victory, IIRC.

I went 3/4 times at bell center. Once, Subban made a pretty nice goal against colorado. It is on youtube (10/18/14). Pretty nice goal and I was right there.

February 1990, I went to see the Pens in Montreal because I wanted to see Mario Lemieux live in person. Well, he didn't play. Got injured the game before. I was really disappointed.

Montreal absolutely ran Pens out of the rink. They won 11-1. It was a ridiculous dominating performance.

That team was outstanding at home though, like by February I think they had only lost one home game.

Still had players on it from the late 80s teams like Naslund, Lemieux, Corson, Richer, Carbonneau, Skrudland, McPhee, etc but also had Schneider, Desjardins, Odelein, Lumme & Keane.

And of course it had Roy.

4g in 1st, 4 g in 2nd & 3 in 3rd.

Atmosphere was just mental. Fun night.
My first game live that one. Also disappointed that I didn’t get to see Mario but man did we ran them over that game…even Svoboda scored if I recall 😂 I still have my ticket stub signed by Maurice Richard that we encountered during intermission. The Forum was a special place.

Probably all the games of the Cup final in 93 against LA. Was just amazing to be there for them at the old Forum. And then the first game at the Molson Centre, now Bell Center and all the collectibles I got from it.

I was lucky enough to see a few games at the Forum - mostly standing room tickets as a poor student at the time. My 1st game with actual seats was memorable October 21, 1995. Mario Tremblay's 1st win as head coach- a 4-3 win over the Leafs. I left thinking maybe Tremblay is a good coach- how wrong I was.

Most memorable game at Bell centre, April 9, 2002 a 4-3 win over the Sens, Koivu's 1st game back from cancer battle. That atmosphere that night was unforgettable. Better than any playoff game I have been at.

June 3, 1993 Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals. The McSoley illegal stick and the Desjardins hat trick.

Can't believe that it's going to be 30 years already.

1988 playoff round I believe it was Game 1 vs the Bruins, Province wide power failure and Mouton announced that we were the only ones watching the game. Generators kicked in enough to be able to play the game. I'm pretty sure Habs won but then lost the next 4. Damn you Cam Neely.
