What's your most memorable game at Bell or Forum?

Was there when Begin went face first into the boards. That game was awesome. Was also there for the elimination game against Boston in 2002. Both game 6s against Boston in the first round. Just wish I could've simultaneously been in Boston to watch Bruins fans die inside at the same time. Don't know why but those critical wins against Boston have stayed with me.

Montreal
Alexei Kovalev Game 2 OT goal against the Dirty Bruins. The whole Bell Center and ambiance was electric.

Josée Theodore homecoming to Montreal. It was the most watched Habs game in history at the time.

Jaroslav Halak return to Montreal. He gets a shutout and a standing ovation from the crowd.

I was supposed to go to that New York Rangers 6-5 comeback of the century game but I was “too tired” and maybe “next time“. My friend was insisting and insisting and I’m just like nahh…😭

Oh man. So you were there for Theodore doing his best impersonation of dominik hasek with that blocker save on Guerin to preserve the lead.

That was a great moment and I can only imagine how the bc was like when he pulled that off.

The 02 win stayed with me too because I started to follow the habs in the 90s, and the Bruins always seemed to beat them in the playoffs. That changed in the 2000s when the habs won 3 out of 4 series against them... But back in 02, it felt like the Bruins were just one of those teams that the Habs just couldn't beat.

Little did I know at the time that the 90s were basically the only time in bruins history that they had Montreal's number.

I don't even remember Habs fans cheering Halak. Must have been right after that playoff run, right? Great stuff.

Haven’t been to the Bell Centre or the old Forum but I did watch the Habs play the Flames at the Saddledome and that was fun

Montreal Tampa Cup finals. Not the best game but best experience watching Habs in the finals.

Also, there were a lot more than 3,500 at the game. Closer to 10,000.

Besides that, Habs Rangers in the playoffs. Radulov with the game winner in OT. Place was wild!

Back in 2012, it was his first game back at the Bell Center after the trade. He had a shutout and after the win the fans cheered for him.

Growing up in SW Ontario with a Dad who was a Leafs fan, he always took me to see the Habs and Leafs at Maple Leaf Gardens. I finally made it to Montreal 4 years ago and almost cried at the site of all the history in Montreal that I never saw until I was almost 40 years old. Habs game at home....heaven.

While my wife was in a conference, I walked down to what is left of the Forum. Walked around that building and the outside trying to picture what it would have been like seeing a game there. Going back in March for my 2nd game in Montreal and bringing my two kids who thankfully are nothing like their Grandfather!

February 1990, I went to see the Pens in Montreal because I wanted to see Mario Lemieux live in person. Well, he didn't play. Got injured the game before. I was really disappointed.

Montreal absolutely ran Pens out of the rink. They won 11-1. It was a ridiculous dominating performance.

That team was outstanding at home though, like by February I think they had only lost one home game.

Still had players on it from the late 80s teams like Naslund, Lemieux, Corson, Richer, Carbonneau, Skrudland, McPhee, etc but also had Schneider, Desjardins, Odelein, Lumme & Keane.

And of course it had Roy.

4g in 1st, 4 g in 2nd & 3 in 3rd.

Atmosphere was just mental. Fun night.

Being at the Forum for Desjardins OT winner during 93 cup final.

Oh man! That would have been awesome....while you went to that one in 93, I had to suffer through this, which is actually pretty unreal to see as a 13 year old kid. Even though I was already a die hard Habs fan.

I was at the Canadiens vs. Red Army game at the Forum on New Years Eve 1975. I think one of my uncles took me. I remembered the Summit Series from 1972, so seeing Tretiak live was a thrill. What I remember most is the constant back-and-forth from both teams and the tension. A lot of fun, but it didn't occur to me at the time that it was the 'greatest game ever played'.

I have been very fortunate as my dad worked in an insurance company linked to Desjardins, so he was often given tickets.

I saw the 5-0 comeback against the Rangers, but as crazy as it will sound, it's not even my favorite one.

I saw McLaren clotheslining Zednik in the playoffs when he was the leading scorer of all teams at that point. The sheer energy of that moment. Multiples fight happened, fans, myself included, threw stuff on the ice. Crowd started chanting "Gino, Gino, Gino". Gino Odjick than murdered one Bruin. Total insanity.

Memory of a lifetime that was. Quite a few shots of the crowd. You ever try to pick yourself out? I remember seeing Brian Mulroney in the crowd

I worked at the Bell Centre for two years in the mid 2000s. THE most memorable one I was at during that time was the 5-0 comeback vs the Rangers. Beating Boston in game 7 in the first round that same year (I think?) was also insane. The crowd was just so loud.

Not counting games I was working for, I was also at this game:

The memory of the two players skating into each other and both giving up on the play is extremely vivid.
