Watch him in the first round come out of the gate like a house on fire.
Shame he still doesn't have a goalie.

Easy to do that in 6 gamesHe's gonna put up 2ppg in the playoffs
Monasteries are often stunningly beautiful. I agree his house is straight up depressing.I think McDavid is suffering from acute depression.... probably due to more than one reason.
One reason that immediately comes to mind is having to live for months in that sterile, cold black and white house that his wife decorated. Frankly I've seen monasteries that have more warmth and comfort.
No, after the finals last year you said he was going to win the Art Ross next year. And the rest of the stuff tooSo I got the Conn Smythe expectation right? Nice.

Just pointing it out.You said Crosby would win more Art Rosses after 2013-2014 and more than two for his entire career. So what?
Game 7 of the SCF. As close as you can come without actually winning. What did he carry the team to again?
Can you please tell me who would be an idea first round opponent and what we have to win to get them?
Only to lose each game when the goaltending tandem fails to remember what they get paid to do.Saving his energy to put up 40 points on the Kings in the first round imo
Agreed… why couldn’t MacKinnon do it?Easy to do that in 6 games
Another way of saying he lost.Game 7 of the SCF. As close as you can come without actually winning.
And you point is what… exactly?Another way of saying he lost.

He got them to Game 6. So did Crosby in 2008. Then Crosby won the Cup the next year.
Interesting how McDavid is getting a pass this season so far because he's played a lot of hockey. Crosby would have won the Art Ross in 09/10 if not for a needing a 1/4 season to shake off the Cup hangover.
More than MacKinnon did….What did he carry the team to again?
I don't know if I'd call it that, but he's not exactly wrong. Mid-November 2009 was the first time Crosby kind of game up and was no longer going 100% every game. Part of that I think was due to Bylsma being outcoached and Crosby feeling like it wasn't worth the effort, but also was due to him winning the cup and realizing the regular season isn't that important. You're really grasping at straws with this one![]()
115 point pace is one of the worst seasons by a generational player? That would be the 2nd most in Crosby's entire career.Easily one of the worst seasons by a true generational player in their primes. 19th in 5 on 5 points? That is an ugly stat

Worse trades have been made.clearly declining.
The Sharks would take him off your hands for Halak, Ryder, and a 2nd.
The question was what did he carry his team to?
