There’s nothing wrong with saying “eye test” to illustrated a person should watch the game. A lot of people since advanced stats come out in full circle have stopped relying on judging players by how they look and play on the ice, some to the point where they don’t even watch the games anymore, just use statistics and say they tell the full story. Which is false.

For me, it's whenever people title their threads in the form of a yes/no question. It's such an intellectually lazy way to introduce a point without the responsibility of arguing for or against it. For example instead of the title "Is Jarome Iginla a first ballot Hall of Famer?", make it "Jarome Iginla is/is not a first ballot Hall of Famer" and argue your point in your post.

Go take a look at the front page right now and you'll see what I'm talking about. Now you won't be able to unsee it and it will bother you every time.
