every time someone uses the term "#1 defenseman" or "#1 forward" it creates an argument based on the discrepancy between people who use the term objectively (e.g. Player X is a #1 center because he's 20th in scoring) and those who use the term subjectively (e.g. "there are only 10-15 #1 defensemen in the league")
