What's the max you'd give to Evans?

If we can get a first for Evans I'd move him. Beck takes his place next year and use the extra first to move up in draft to get Desnoyers or Mrtka. Or if we get one of those with our pick, combine extra first with Flames pick to get the other. Or Carter Bear.

Trade him!! We are lucky that his value is at peak level at the right time. Same thing with Yo-Elle. The rebuild is not done and we need to cash in on this golden opportunity that came out of nowhere.

Depends. I hear the waive of talent in this draft drops at 8 and then again at 15-20 range. Bob M said the 2nd rounders in this draft are probably 3rd rounder quality in average drafts. I think you are going to see more late 1sts and 2nd rounders traded at this TDL because of this.

So if you get a late 1st for Evans, you are basically aiming for a depth guy and that guy stands to be an Evans type (if you hit and he develops well). Unless we aim for 2026+ 1st or a prospect. I bet you Gortgon/Hughes will be looking for a deeper trade by adding a pick on top of Evans and bringing in someone of value.

We should be open to either signing or trading him. The issue us fans have is we don't know what he would sign and we also don't know what the offers will be.

With the projected cap, it's a guarantee that you sign him, it would look like a normal 3C contract even if we paid through the nose right now.
