What's the Greatest Goal of the Century?

I've probably watched Byfield's goal against Columbus 30 times since last night, and still can't get over how special it is. Forget Goal of the Year, I feel like it could be right up there with some of the greatest goals of the century - but is that just recency bias talking?

So, it got me thinking - which goal (or goals) would you nominate for greatest of the 21st century? Regular season, playoffs, you name it; let's start compiling a list of some of the most dazzling, electrifying, disgusting, mind-bending, earth-shattering, obscene, unbelievable goals of the past 24 years (and maybe get some debate going while we're at it). The original poster asked for "greatest".

I interpret "greatest" to mean something more than simply great deking, shooting, etc.

Orr's goal was completely iconic, and therefore "great".

Although Orr's goal doesn't qualify for the purposes of this thread, since Orr's goal was 20th Century and the poster seems to want 21st Century.

In that case, I nominate Crosby's Golden Goal.

There hasn't been a more iconic goal scored in the 21st Century than Crosby's goal to win the 2010 Olympics.

You gotta assess this goal with all players involved at top speed. You can break down every goal in super slow motion and make critiques. This play happens in seconds

In these few seconds I’m sure the thought of “this guy is sliding in his back with his body pointing to Neptune- I should be good” crossed his mind

When you factor in the skill involved, the weight of the goal (game winning in the final minute), and the sheer improbability of it ever being repeated, this is the winner for me. He made professional athletes look like beer leaguers.
