What would be considered a big enough disappointment that major change is inevitable?

Obviously if we blow a 3-0 lead to Ottawa that would qualify, but let's assume we do win this series. I don't have much faith that we'll beat Florida or even put up a good fight, but would simply losing to the defending cup champs in the 2nd round be enough to to make Tre think that major change has to happen? I think if we lose to Florida in 5 or less that would do it.

If we lost 82 games in a row for 10 years in a row, I think Shanahan might figure out it might not work (still need to see how Willie/Auston/Mitch look in their 40s though)

The next 2 games will tell you what has to happen.
Game 5 was a disgrace. There was nothing there in the eyes of so many players.
The room is the issue. No camaraderie, not one ounce in most players. Jt trying to be the leader because the designated leaders bought new golf clubs.

Anything short of a finals appearance is a disappointment

We are looking over at bring reverse swept though and that would be such an embarrassment they should relocate the team somewhere else

It might inevitable now. There are two star players who have earned the right to choose free agency, and an RFA who has earned the right to sign an offersheet ( the team can match and there will be compensation if they choose not to.)

Going by the regular season standings theoretically should make a disappointment out of any series loss to FLA. I'm really just hoping for things to get there at this point.
