Rematches without any good storylines seem rather boring anyways. McDavid bested Tkachuk and Calgary and then Tkachuk came back and bested McDavid by winning the Stanley Cup. Story over

Yeah, I don’t get the angle of a rematch with little to no animosity to the series. Team A already beat team B, how exactly can you get redemption on that when they already won the ultimate prize?

Now a highly emotional and physical playoff round I can see the interest in a rematch.
