What we need according to the numbers

I think the problem with the goals allowed lies within the "system" they play. I love that they can score most nights when they have to, but my brother, who is a rags fan said it too. They jump out to or get leads and can score with anyone for 40 mins most nights, but its like they dont give a @$% in their zone for the last 20. Its coaching. Their PP is lights out most of the time bc of coaching and keeping it simple.
GOATLENDING has been a huge issue as well. If nabby was putting up his stats from last season, the isles are in better shape. Games that rick starts i just hope for overtime and a point.
The PK is solid, guys block shots and they are very aggresive. Most PPG against have been broken plays and deflections. If the team approached 5 v. 5 play with the same intensity in their own zone, they would be much better than 29th in GA.

Just a question..would you like to see TT play this year?

And what are your thoughts for sending out unhappy NN to us for Jared Knight, a highly ranked prospect in the system.

I would welcome Tom Thomas. Even if he's been sitting on his can for months he's still better than what we have now. Nino will be fine once Garth Snow calls him up and let's him play.

The back and forth conversation of goalie or D-men is interesting. With this all being said, which position do you feel is more important for us to focus on in this years draft? Since we are still in a rebuild we will prob have a high pick. But what position is more important to focus on this year?

You take the best player early. But for the later rounds, I think we've got enough project defensemen!

Cheers,
