a) Henk wasn`t best tournament goalie in 2006. He did ok job, but nothing great
b) He had tremendous stats in G7, allowing from 0 to 2 goals in that big moments - lack of elite forwards that`s why Rangers didn`t win cup. Hasek won just once in G7 in series, that probably shoudnt last so long
Well if someone is the best goalie in the playoffs doesn't matter if they win a cup, so probably shouldn't in the Olympics. But I get what you mean Hasek gets a bump in 98.
Hank is a werid case, he was insane in G7s but IMO he was kind up and down in the playoffs and at times the only reason they were in a game 7 is because he wasn't great in the previous games. But yeah, lack of scoring did not help him in his career at all.
