Agree on Seidenberg and the two acquisitions you listed. But, to balance out the pairings, I'd prefer:

Chara-C. Miller
Yandle-Shattenkirk
Krug-McQuaid
Morrow

Gives you a L-R shot on each pairing.

Ok, but what do you do when you can only protect 3 d-men in the expansion draft and one has to be Chara.

Expansion? How many teams and when? Didn't know it was settled. Anyway we have O'Gara, Zboril, Lauzon and Carlo, whom, I believe, don't have to be protected.
