What Team Has the Top Future D Corp

He is

But he's surrended by some bad MoFos
Imagine if Hutson was targeted, the Habs would than have to unleash Xhekaj on the other team superstars
And we know for a fact that this is happening, he has a track record doing just that
Never worked when Leaf's went after you Finn

Suzuki doesn't typically dangle through guys. Hutson was 8th in the league in primary assists for dmen and third in takeaways, he created an incredible amount of offense by himself.

You've completely made up a narrative
34 secondary assists compared to 22 primary.

Point still stands

People need to be more patient with Korchinski. He seems like he will get there eventually.
Just look at how patience paid off with Jackson LaCombe who had as good as a season as Seider.
Feel like people are underrating the Alex Vlasic. He plays on the 2nd worst team in the league two years in a row.

LaCombe: only 22 minutes a game 43 points in 75 games 45.8% oZone starts vs Seider: 25 minutes a game 46 points in 82 games 44.9% oZone starts. Both from the 2019 draft. Ducks D of the future: LaCombe, Mintyukov, Luneau(led all AHL Dmen in points per game as a rookie AHLer), Solberg, Zellweger, Moore, Helleson and Tarin Smith.

I wouldn’t say lacombe had a season as good as Seider at all. But it was a good season for lacombe. Seider provides the same offense while being a better defender and a lot more physical. So I would say Seider was still easily better. Models like the athletic use had Seider as the 10th best defenseman this season.

Yeah the physicality makes Seider my favorite between the two. We don't have any top4 guys who can be physical like that yet. Solberg we hope is that guy who can play physical in the top4. Gudas and Trouba suck and when they are gone hopefully Solberg is ready.

Seider played 3 more minutes per game to produce that same offense and both had close to the same dZone start%, a difference of 1.1%. Seider plays on a team with the 4th best PP% at 27%. LaCombe plays for a team whose Powerplay 11.8% has been bottom 3 for several years now. Easily gets to like 60 points on a team with an league average powerplay. Seider has more experience and track record in the NHL. LaCombe has to prove he can do it again. Seider can also take a bigger step forward next year and be even better as well.
Its interesting how close they are in offense and defensive zone usage.

I mean you could make an argument that lacombes shooting percentage for a defenseman is definitely unsustainable as well. And you could also argue that lacombe is part of the problem for why their PP is so bad. Just being devils advocate but saying he gets easily 60 points is a little nuts.

Watch one power play and you will see that isn’t the case.

The Ducks have had some bad PP over the last ten years. This one takes the cake. Clune is clueless.

Anyways. Sender and Lacombe are different players that bring different things. Both fantastic.

If you watch his highlights, his shooting is high because he's getting a bunch of his goals from the goal mouth. Somehow he finds his way deep, yet does it without gambling, he just makes smart reads to jump in and has the skating to get back.

And no, he's not the reason the PP is so bad, that has more to do with mis-use of players. Cronin had the team doing insane crap like using Carlsson as the net front presence. Or Strome/Vatrano as PP1 dudes much of the year. Or keeping his best shooter in Gauthier pinned to the bench.

Lacombe is pretty elite in a lot of categories outside of shooting. Take a look at his advanced stats if you can find it
