Plenty of states have suburbs in other states. Kansas City, Kansas is actually a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. The Washington Commander play in Maryland and Washington DC has suburbs in Maryland, Virginia and even West Virginia.

People who are all "only NY team" are pea brained idiots worthy of ridicule.

Buffalo Bills
YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!

While what you say may be true, I would venture that most (if not all) of those suburbs are in the same state. Meadowlands is NOT in NYC or even NYS. Growing up, I don't ever recall anyone thinking that ANY part of New Jersey was a suburb of NY.

Well, I mean most cities don't border so closely to other states. My friend's family is from somewhere in Illinois close to St. Louis and he tells people he's "from St. Louis" and I believe you get the same with some parts of Northern Indiana and Chicago. I don't understand what difference it makes that it's a different state. Camden and Philly are sort of similar too.

NYCFC

They've won it already and this core is gonna win it again.

Beyond that, I actually voted for the Giants. I think they have a special vibe going (just like NYCFC) and they might be one off-season away. They're winning games they have no business winning in ballsy ways with a laughable roster. Just wait until Daboll gets some weapons.

The Mets are right there, I just worry about the age of their rotation, but it's very possible.

The Rangers are right behind the Mets.

The Yankees are nowhere close because they'll continue to think their shit doesn't stink as they score 2 runs in the ALCS.

Why do Bills fans have some weird insecurity that they need to bring up that they play in NY State every chance they get? Buffalo is an insignificant city unlike NYC which might be the most important city in the world. Playing in a suburb that just so happens to be geographically across state lines doesn't change that.

Most bills fans say it jokingly. It’s not insecurity.

Buffalo is a Toronto team

It’s really not.

I'm not a bills or Football fan but aren't the Bills the only NY team playing in NY in the NFL? haha

Yes. But being a NY team doesn’t necessarily make it a NYC team. Huge difference.

I live in lower Fairfield county CT. We’re considered a suburb of NYC. There were more Rangers fans here then Whalers fans in their hay day.

I mean all you have to say is "Wide Right!" and it should shut Bills fans up
Burn in hell. Forever. 😂😥

That was a GREAT SB game. One of best.

Ok but the title of the thread does say "Metro."

Buffalo is NY Metro like Shanghai is NY Metro.

Mets
Yankees
Rangers

The Giants are rebuilding, but they have their coach and GM.

The Jets need a QB, but have a really good roster.

The Knicks are mediocre.

The Nets could win and nobody would know.

Did I disagree….? We had this exact discussion on Twitter not too long ago.

I guess you haven't read social media.:laugh::laugh:

I have. Plenty. And again, there’s a difference between being a NY team vs a NYC team.

Stamford CT is more NYC than Rochester, Syracuse or Albany.

I feel like the baseball teams are the best shot, though I feel like the Mets' spending spree will end up like the big-spending Rangers of the late 90s/early 00s and flame out.

If the Jets can sign a quality QB in free agency, shore up the O-Line, and stay healthy, then they have a good shot IMO.
