It's 23 here in ATL with a 10 windchill. I voted for the Rangers. (I can't get the prefix to work. If some kindly mod would like to change it to Speculation that would be great)

Buffalo Bills

Why do Bills fans have some weird insecurity that they need to bring up that they play in NY State every chance they get? Buffalo is an insignificant city unlike NYC which might be the most important city in the world. Playing in a suburb that just so happens to be geographically across state lines doesn't change that.

Buffalo is a Toronto team

I'm not a bills or Football fan but aren't the Bills the only NY team playing in NY in the NFL? haha

It's a completely tired and ridiculous argument. Many teams play in a suburb of the city they're representing including *drumroll please* the Bills themselves. Fact of the matter is NYC just so happens to border a different state and some of its suburbs are in a different state. It's not like the Giants and Jets play in California. NYC geography is just unique. Bills fans show their little man syndrome by bringing this up over and over again. Also, NYC is what makes NY state, no one gives a shit about upstate NY it's irrelevant.

I mean all you have to say is "Wide Right!" and it should shut Bills fans up

I just called them the Orchard Park Bills.
"Wide Right" is more painful as it reminds them of the Superbowl they lost to the NY Football Giants which should then trigger them remembering they also lost the 3 superbowls that followed which should further trigger them being reminded that the Sabres have never won a championship either. Talk about a loser city. Its one of the ugliest cities too with no economic future. Ugly with no economic prospects is also an accurate description of Bills and Sabres fans.

So any team closer to the border of the states city can be called said state's team? That's hilarious. It's foreign to me. I don't talk football geography enough. It's great.

When people call the Giants and Jets, NY Giants and NY Jets, they're referring to New York City not New York State. If you want to change that then call the Buffalo Bills the Orchard Park Bills. Why does it matter what state it is? Both are suburbs of the city they represent.

On paper the Mets. But history says the Yankees or Giants.

While what you say may be true, I would venture that most (if not all) of those suburbs are in the same state. Meadowlands is NOT in NYC or even NYS. Growing up, I don't ever recall anyone thinking that ANY part of New Jersey was a suburb of NY.

WTF Its literally part of the NY Metro Area. If people think those parts are not a suburb of NY then that ignorance is their issue.
