My one year old son in his Rangers PJ's. Because when we inevitably don't win the lottery and fall back to 8-9th, instead of being seething mad I can look at the guy sitting right next to me and remember what is really important.

And if by some miracle we do win the lottery, being able to celebrate with him in his Rangers gear makes it all worth it.

This is all the feels...

Tomorrow night, I’ll be wearing my Dad’s Crucifex and Our Lady of Loretto medal. My Dad was a great Ranger fan. He played high school hockey at the old Brooklyn Ice Palace and was also a short track speed skater. He skated several times in the Silver Skates event at Madison Square Garden III. The last time I wore this cross and medal was June 14th, 1994.View attachment 211117
I don’t know if I would call it a charm, but I almost always carry a picture of Jesus and/or Mother Mary with me when I have an exam. Seems to work, but I don’t really believe in “good luck.” I guess I believe it in a more religious sense.

I used to carry rosary beads with me whenever I felt like I needed a bit of extra luck, especially when I traveled by air. I hate flying more than I hate almost everything.

Its been a lonnnngg while since I've given up my faith, but I may break them out tonight.

Thanks for the assist Dad.

Jeff Gordon’s lucky charm was Steven McDonalds shield. And we won.

That’s awesome on just so many levels.
