I generally agree. But Dortmunder Gold is actually very good and one of the best examples of the style, and it was a soccer joke anyway.

Be aware there are two different Great Lakes Breweries. There's a Canadian one and a US one and they are completely different breweries. I don't imagine you'll ever see each one in the opposite country unless they change names for export.

I have only drank PBR once. I was playing in a hockey tourny in Banff back in 2014 and this rubby bar was selling PBR for like $2 a can. Got pretty ****ed up playing beer pong all night. It was disgusting but it did the trick.
