No depth. If Eichel/Stone/Hertl aren't scoring then no one else is (maybe Doro).
Defense has done little offensively. Hanifin is a disaster.
Goaltending, shockingly, has been suspect.

I mean they had a really good record to begin with. 3-8-3 is a long enough and bad enough stretch where it raises eyebrows. Not exactly the Rangers 4-15 Picasso, lol. But to be fair Vegas doesn't have a bunch of whinny p***yes on the team like the Rangers, lol.

Pretty average goaltending so if it catches the lower end of variance they can definitely lose a good stretch of games.

Their constant loss of quality depth players over time is catching up to them. Thomspon, Marchessault, and Smith in the last year and a bit. And more since their Cup. Hard to replace.

Their goalies stink and they have guys like Victor Olafsson and Holtz playing up in the lineup. Their roster has holes now.
Adin Hill is still prime Hasek against the Oilers. So they have that going for them.
They did lose their 2/3/4 reg season scoring leaders from their cup season in chandler Stephenson, Marchessault, and R.Smith.
I still think if Woodcroft played Campbell when he was getting hot instead of letting Skinner collapse, we beat Vegas. One of the biggest mistakes in the history of the franchise.

Over the last 10 games they have 2 regulation wins, tied for DFL with Chicago and San Jose.
Whether or not it’s truly cause for concern is hard to say as an outsider, every good team goes through slumps.

Vegas learned their lesson about burning out their players. They will keep Wild Bill on the LTIR untill the playoffs and do what they usually do at the deadline. They will make the playoffs and their players will be really fresh

Pretty sure the last 4 years around the end of the year we are usually around the top of the year.... and then we fall off a cliff, First year we missed the playoffs, 2nd year we rebounded abit, last year we were so close to missing the playoffs. I hope the four nations break lets us regroup...
Also I miss Logan Thompson.
