What if: If the Panthers lost the 2024 SCF, would it be worse than 28-3?

Here's this crazy game that's a lot similar to the 2024 SCF outcome. Ironically, the loser team is named the Panthers. Pretty odd, eh?

It was 41-17 with 3:03 remaining. They came all the way back 44-41 just to give up a kickoff return TD with 0:11. Final score 48-44.

Think about it. Losing four games in a row after being up 3-0 in the Finals vs a 25-point lead in the second half of the championship game? Tough call for me!

Assuming equal teams, it would be no worse than the Oilers' "choke job" that made them lose the series.

Both teams lost three in a row. Game seven was basically a coinflip.

And many hockey fans argue to this day that the Oilers didn't really choke. In my opinion, they choked away the greatest comeback legacy sports would've ever seen. Arguably even better than 28-3.
