Ladies and gentlemen, your starting goalie for the playoffs…Stolarz. Woll would have had allowed one shit goal to put us out of this game. Matthews led like a leader should in that third period. Marner with a great defensive play with the empty net. No clue why Benoit was in this game.

Matthews on one leg looked decent against them. What will a rested McDrai do to them? 4 straight wouldn’t surprise me.

This one feels really good. Matthews was on a mission, Tavares is on fire and Stolarz was solid. Carlo, Tanev and McCabe were made for games like this and delivered. Gives me hope for the playoffs!

Plenty of battling in this game and it wasn't pretty which is EXACTLY the kind of win you want from a team serious about the playoff grind.

Matthews said "get on my shoulders" and JT was Robin to his batman tonight. I don't know how many shots Matthews had but he had to be near double digits. Special mention to Stolarz who is starting to round into pre-injury form IMO
