You do it and spend your time so I can troll you on it with cherry picking witch hunt arguments after you are done
.
What I do have is the last 10 years though (2008-2017)
- 64 total picks (ranks 26th)
- 2 top 10 picks (ranks 18th)
- 31 top 100 picks (ranks 21st)
- 1637 games played in the NHL by those picks (ranks 29th)
- 670 pts (ranks 28th)
- 0.409 pts/game (ranks 11th)
Last time I did the stats, it was mid December of last year.
Like I said a hundred times, the 2008-2011 years are dark years for us and the ripple effects have lasted for years and we have holes in our line-up today because of it. Those players would be 25-30 today. Like Gallagher. The intent of separating the stats starting in 2012 is to show you how bad the 4 years prior are and why people think we suck at drafting. Something you ignore but I know you realize it. You just don't want to admit it.
The difference between 2008-2011 and 2012-2017 is night and day. Our worse mistake is letting Galchenyuk and Gallagher play as 18 and 20 years olds and not actually rebuilding back in 2012. We had lots of picks but too many from 25 on from the years of drafting after 2012. Hope we don't make that mistake again this year where we think we can retool and be cup contenders through free agency and trades. Tavares would be nice but it's a long shot.
