That seems like the most likely occasion to announce the team name, but that's just based on conjecture, and I have yet to read any source about when they'll actually do it.

As long as Utah picks a name I'll eventually grow to accept it, probably. 'Hockey Club' needs to die in a ditch, just as every '[Sport] Club' that isn't a century+ old needs to as well. It's awful when MLS teams do that shit, but I have no tolerance for it crossing over into other sports. Kill that shit before it has a chance to spread like the plague it is.

They aren’t changing the already implemented color scheme or deviating at this point from the three candidates it was narrowed down to so most of the fan made concepts with either different color schemes than black and powder blue or some name that wasn’t a finalist…while interesting…have no shot at resembling what they go with.

No announcement of when they'd announce the name that I know of yet. Announcing it at the draft makes the most sense to me, but that's just personal speculation.

Really hoping it's Outlaws. It's such a badass name, and it makes sense with Utah's wild west history. The marketing opportunities are endless.

Mammoth I could live with, it's not great but it's not bad. Too similar in theme to the Avs IMO.

Hockey Club is utter garbage, I'll further lose faith in humanity if they stick with that name. We don't need that boring soccer (football) style name here...
