Wtf. We’re taking about the same shit in the Offseason thread.

Someone on the main board said the leaked deal has Chychrun and the 25th to Boston. That’s pretty good.
I would be very happy with that. It's not what I'm expecting, but that would be a nice return. Better than Calgary got for Markstrom. I'm assuming this would have to come with an Ullmark extension.

You can keep both Chychrun + #25 and be happy, assuming you are finding center/wing help elsewhere, or you can flip one or either in a deal for a center.

It's highly likely a #25 pick won't for Boston next season and probably even the one after that, but they've got to get back to adding players for the future.

Unless you just think Chychrun is bad, it does make the defense better and that's a good thing too. The only things to worry about with JC are: need for a new contract in the not distant future, history of injuries.

I would certainly hope the return for Ullmark will be better than the return for Markstrom. Ullmark is a younger and much better player

It’s more complicated than that, though. Contract length, cap hit, no trade clauses etc

If the return was Jakob Chychrun and a 1st round pick (25th overall) it should have been announced by now. Don't you think so?

Perhaps Don Sweeney hoping for Shane Pinto. I know I do.

Hampus Lindholm has a full movement clause until 1927 when has a 15-team No trade list.
So what some here were thinking about including myself, probably won't work.
(trading Lindholm for help at center).

Chychrun and 25th overall is very much ok for me.
Chychrun would help the Bruins PP tremendously.
Scored 7 of his 14 goals on the PP.

Also would be more exciting to follow the draft again if we had a 1st round choice. Go get some more please.

BTW Charlie MacAvoy full No Movement Clause kicks in July 1, 2024.
Charlie Coyle and Brad Marchand has a 8-team no trade list
Brandon Carlo and Pavel Zacha has a 10-team no trade list
