If you value these draft picks based off Corey Pronman's tiers from
his March 11 prospect rankings, the 16 and 17 picks are players he rates as tier 4 or 'bubble top and middle of the lineup players'. The top 10 guys are tiers 1 through 3 and all grade out - according to Pronman - as top of the lineup players or better (up to NHL All Star players).
So if you want to use that as a guide, I don't think that combo of picks would get you into the top 10. Perhaps you
could package those picks to get a guy at 11-13 you really like. That type of trade seems most likely to happen on draft day.
