As the Bruins’ ship continues to take on water, and the club’s points percentage in the standings continues to dwindle, what do you do?

If you don’t like any of my proposed options, consider choosing the one that best fits where you’re at and explain in the thread.

You fire Sweeney into the sun, as a venerable poster suggests to this day.

And you send Neely along with him.

This will not happen, if it happens at all, until the off season. No one should expect otherwise.

However, many if not most are tired of their foolishness. They do nothing but sit and wait.

I understand that they should wait until the deadline or just before to maximize return on Frederic, etc.

But that, yet again, is nibbling around the edges. I am heartily sick of both of these guys and want them gone as soon as possible. Then and only then will true change come.

Coyle is the first guy I'd move, in house replacement is ready and it would shake "The Room" up, plus it let's the league know we are open for business
I like Charlie but I would keep him. He is one of their few true leaders.

Even so, as noted previously, I would trade any player on this roster immediately.

Begin the beguine.

Coyle's contract and age makes him the ideal candidate to move, but he seems to be the only one out there taking the heat for this team, that should account for something.

I just dont want to see Sweeney get fleeced or trade away any more futures and try to patch this sinking ship with a Band-Aide or two so I said stand pat.

Got to look at the coaches too.
It’s still early in Detroit, but I can’t help but wonder if the Bruins could have done better hiring an actual HC, rather than interming an existing staff member. McLellan has the Red Wings energized and playing totally different than they were in the first half of the season.

Have they stopped diving 40 times a night
