What did you want Seattle's NHL team to be named?

That is cool. Below is probably the nicest concept I’ve seen for the “Sockeyes” name. Would’ve been just iconic right off the bat. Not sure of the artist, but it’s all over the internet, so it doesn’t matter. Maybe not these exact colours, but the logo and motif is just beautiful, imo.

Our brains perceive colors differently. Three shades of green together just look like a mess to me, not enough contrast.

It's sort of like how some people like the Canucks blue and green jerseys but to me the colors kind of blend into a mess.

It's the color scheme of the Pacific Northwest and it looks amazing when there is enough to provide contrast - like a touch of neon on the Seahawks jerseys - but without that added contrast the jerseys look messy to me.

In hindsight, Seattle Super Sockeyes has a nice ring to it.

Fair enough, but yeah I did mention that it could maybe use different colours. The logo is what I really like, and the waves motif. Definitely hear you on the contrast thing though, although I don’t mind the pale green - there just needs to be something else in there too. And yeah I don’t like the white jerseys, but white is almost required for aways, so no way around it really.

For me, I wanted it to be the Scorpions so badly. It's very due for a pro sports brand.
Sounds dumb and random, but I wanted it to be like the Yin/Yang match for the same place the SuperSonics will play in the day they return.
A shutout is known as a flawless victory. A goal in OT is also known as a fatality.
They'll mostly play Scorpions songs throughout the games.
