What Did Connor Bedard Say To Get A 10-Min Misconduct?

Out of all the players in the NHL, Crosby is the absolute last player who any fan should be complaining about not getting favorable calls.
So those clips actually don't have anything to do with what I was talking about, which was fouls committed AGAINST Crosby. Especially since these two incidents happened like 10+ years after Crosby was at the point in his career Bedard is at right now. You just wanted to get your jab in, as usual lol.

You are twisting yourself into a pretzel to pretend how the NHL treats Crosby is unrelated to how the NHL treats Crosby.

I realize that's the narrative in Canada but it is utter gibberish.

Crosby slashed off a guy's fingertip and the NHL wouldn't even give him a fine that amounts to 1/4,000th of his salary (in fact the NHL has never fined Crosby). There is no argument to be made that Crosby was doing anything other than deliberately slashing hands on that play.

No player in this current generation has been given more favorable calls than Sidney Crosby.

I mean after 10+ years of getting your hands slashed at is it really so crazy he finally dished out a good one?

Not even a little bit. One of us is twisting things, as per usual. You're pointing at uncalled incidents 12 years into his career as a way to act like Crosby wasn't abused early in his career.

We're not going to agree, let's not de-rail yet another thread with your 20 year vendetta.

Move off of the Sidney Crosby diversion. Get the thread back on topic.

Not every thread on this board has to become an Ovechkin vs. Crosby debate, no matter how much some might enjoy it.

I forget which game he was referring to, but Elliott said that it wasn't anything specific that Bedard said. The refs had basically told him that they heard his point and he should stop talking, but he wouldn't shut up about whatever he was complaining about. That makes sense.

Makes sense. Continuing to run your mouth after the official has let you say your piece is a pretty big no-no in any sport. If you do (or could) start off what you’re about to say to an official with “and another thing…” you’d better keep your mouth shut instead of saying it. It doesn’t matter whether you’re right or wrong, you’re just breaching etiquette on how to talk to an official at that point and they’re not going to take kindly to it.
