Not COUNTRY, COUNTY.

The ones I know off the top of my head are:

Islanders = Nassau, soon to be Brooklyn
Bruins = Suffolk
Leafs = Metro Toronto (I think)

Why?..... this has to be one of the most random threads I've ever saw on any forum site, not just HF.

But, to answer your question. The Blue Jackets are in Franklin County, Ohio.

Rangers have most of the NYC boroughs and I'd say about 30% of the North Jersey counties like Bergen, Passaic, Essex. They have a fair bit of Connecticut, Fairfield county for sure

It'll be interesting to see how Brooklyn will accept the Islanders. Lot of young folks out there these days could win over some fans perhaps

This thread is about where the fans of the team are from, not the physical location of the arena?

A County is a more localized form of Govt here in the States. Each state has a number of these that each have elected officials and so on. New Jersey, for example, has twenty one counties in it.

Interesting info. What county is the arena in, is it Manhattan?

Only five provinces (all east of Manitoba) use counties as regional subdivisions, so the Western Canadian teams are all N/A.

Yeah, we don't have counties up here.

And what would one even do with this information?

Ah I see, thanks. Sort of like a municipality I suppose?
