Islanders = Nassau, soon to be Brooklyn
Bruins = Suffolk
Leafs = Metro Toronto (I think)

A County is a more localized form of Govt here in the States. Each state has a number of these that each have elected officials and so on. New Jersey, for example, has twenty one counties in it.

When I went to a Canucks - Panthers game in Florida, I was just shocked at how out of the way the arena was. Are any other arenas really far out of the downtown?

For the Leafs I think it's hard to say.

I live in Thornhill, Ontario which is in the York Region part and a suburb of Toronto, however where my neighbourhood is it's only 5 minutes from the border of where Toronto starts at.
