What are the best settings for OPTIMAL HFBoards viewing/posting?

I went max settings for Threads/Comments at 30 per page a long time ago. I just figured get the most out of a single page load was the best way to go. Now reflecting upon it it may not be the best or most efficient way to go.

It also disappoints me as I often try to time out my hottest takes and best comments for the start of a new page in a thread but learning that other viewers/posters may have their posts-per-page set at 20, 15, or even 5 completely shatters that tactic.

Help me OPTIMIZE my HFBoards experience.

EDIT: also feel free to share any tips or tricks you may have within the settings menu. Nighttime HF/darkmode GOAT. I will never go back

you took the only 2 i had. 30 posts per page and dark mode.

Just switched over to dark mode, this'll take some getting used to

EDIT: Nah. 18 years of looking at a forum a certain way, I'm gonna change it back to normal.

I use dark mode for other apps or whenever it's available but for here I don't think I'd ever get used to it.
