Random, but it’s Monday night, let’s say all 32 teams are free- which matchup would you most wanna see? (excluding your team). And which two dance partners would you not wanna watch at all?

For me:

Best:

Edmonton vs. Colorado. Boring, easy answer, but the best players are the best watch. Shocking stuff. HM to Dallas though, I feel like I should watch ‘em to see how stacked they really are.

Worst:

Pens vs.. Isles? Sure, Isles. I don’t watch Utah so would actually be curious about ‘em, and I’d pick Chicago except Crosby vs. Bedard is kinda cool.

Thoughts? And does it change at all if it’s a 7 game series?

Worst:
- Most games with Minnesota involved but that's just my historical bias, sorry not sorry;
- High-scoring blowouts, especially if I'm a neutral fan of both teams.

Best:
- Scrappy close games especially if they're on the playoff bubble/in the playoffs, kind of doesn't matter who;
- Games where the team I like (even neutrally) wins;
- Games where the team I dislike (even neutrally) loses;
- Games where Ovechkin scores;
- International best-on-best (not what OP asked for but I can't help it.)

Best:

7 pm EST puck drop on a Mon to Thurs

Im on the floor wrestling w my son anyway so if there a Caps on in the background ... its like working at a bar they let you drink at

Worst:

1-3 pm puck drops on weekends .. always running around and miss those

On 03/23/1994 at Hamiltons Copps Coliseum, the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs played to a 1-1 tie in quite possibly the most boring game in NHL history.

As a noted Leaf hater, I found myself actually cheering for the Leafs, because they actually made an attempt to entertain the crowd, in one of the worst examples of trap hockey era I had seen.

Folks, I’m lookin for teams- what other teams do you like watching? Which are of no interest to you?

In general I’ve always preferred watching the western conference. Being an Arizona/Utah fan means that my opinions (usually in the form of animosity) of the other teams in the west are stronger. Now that I live out in Florida and also follow Tampa Bay, I’ve also formed stronger opinions (also in the form of animosity) towards the rest of the Atlantic division.

As a result, what’s left over is that the teams in the Metropolitan division just don’t interest me that much.

Metro division games are ass to me and this is magnified in the playoffs. All those years of Caps/Rangers did a number on me, man. I don't care for any of the rivalries or the teams generally. There are players I love on all of them but it's not enough to make me care. The Capitals and Blue Jackets are the only ones that get a pass for me.
