f*** this dude. Single handedly tanked my fantasy team.
What’s up with the whole Buffalo Sabres team, really.Last year Tage scored 47g, 47a, 94 points, in 78 games.
This year he has.. 15g, 14a, 29 points in 43 games.
So.. what gives?
1) Injury. Dude was banged up earlier this year, dunno if that’s still the case.
2) Confidence. Tage seems to grip the stick too tightly and second guess decisions. Last year he just got on a heater where things built and built, now he’s trying to get back to that level while also trying to play better D, play more responsibly.
3) Coaching. Granato did well on that first step, putting Tage in a spot to succeed, but it doesn’t seem like there’s much else there. No adjustments, no fine-tuning. He’s not getting Tage out of his own head or back on an upwards trajectory, it feels like it’s just “you can do it” platitudes.
Anyways- Tage could still be a monster, but somethin is off this year. We haven’t really discussed it, everything in Sabres land sucks right now, but this is the worst. Immense talent lookin’ like a Cheechoo, idk what is happening there. Thoughts?
Poster probably thinks other fans might have insight from their perspective. It's interesting to gauge other fans opinions because they can see something that the fans of the team might notFans of team's player, ask fans of other teams why that player is not doing well?
How the f*** should we know, you watch them all the time, not us...
They’re trying the Edmonton 2009-2025 model of “play/keep the kids and hope for the best”. It’s worked out just as well.I feel for Sabres fans, i really do. Despite all the hopes and promising future, they're still bottom feeders and they doing worst than some newly rebuilding teams. I just don't get it, it must be infuriating
What does Myers have to do with this ?
Same.f*** this dude. Single handedly tanked my fantasy team.
Soon as another fairy tale expansion team is gifted a playoff team out of the gateMerely wondering how long until Tage demands the non-approved experimental surgery .......
