What’s the league’s policy regarding Adderall? Is it performance enhancing?

with the Ekblad thing, I’m finally asking somethin I’ve wondered for a while- what’s the league’s policy regarding Adderall?

I noticed a star player in the playoffs last year who just seemed abnormally focused, reminded me of a buddy in college, so thought I’d ask.

Not that I’d know, but that stuff makes you hyper-focused, somewhat aggressive- imo it’d 100% be a performance enhancer.

But some dudes might actually have a legit prescription? Easy enough for others to get. Just curious if if anyone has any insight.

The internet seems to indicate it's entirely banned, with no exemptions even for medical reasons. Seems like it's banned in the other 3 sports too but with medical exception diagnosed by team/league officials.

Pretty sure there’s a medical exception for it if prescribed? I know that’s how the NCAA works.

Whether or not he had a prescription, I’ve seen an interview where Sean Avery talks about how he and some teammates would pop them on gameday
