We're Third Place and....

Ok I guess we're just in a hot streak and gonna get brutally ***** next round

No, the Habs are dictating the play. Tampa isn't ready for the POs just yet. They're a good and green team. Maybe the games would be closer if they had their MVP, but no reason for the Habs to struggle even in that case, they are the better team on paper.

The biggest doubts going in were if Bishop would somehow go into God-mode, which we have seen in POs before, or if Cooper outcoached MT and frustrated him like Ottawa last season. That was the only thing that made the series difficult to predict for me, but like I had said, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Habs roll through the Bolts.

Going forward, it's all about matchups. If Boston and Pens get ousted, the east is wide open until the SCF.

Boston would be a tough series and can go either way. They match up well to the Bruins, but the Bruins are still a well-oiled machine. Again, my biggest fears in this series would be Rask and Julien, more than Boston's physical play and talent.

It's not a holier than thou attitude. You want to attack my calling out posters, that's fine. You saying this shows me that you have no concept of fair and balanced.

"Unbiased opinions would actually see that the Canadiens road on the coattails of Carey Price for most of the season, were outplayed, outpossessed and outshot most nights despite having the talent to not be outplayed and outclassed. Those invoking the record to overlook all those issues sound like Leafs fans who were adamant that everything was all right because they had a good record."

Not sure what is wrong with that? We were outplayed, outpossessed and outchanced, most nights. We did heavily rely on Price to carry us to victories on plenty of occasions.
We only had one working line and it got the bulk of the offensive opportunities.

Not sure what's wrong with saying that. And now we're playing much better, more aggressive, all 4 lines are contributing and our defense are being way more cautious.
Price is still being solid too.

Probably. The playoffs are always about injuries and hot streaks though... who would of thought Bork would be the difference maker thus far?

I know John Cooper personally, he's a brilliant guy....I'm biased on him a little bit :)
