Post-Game Talk: We're only gonna need a moderately sized boat

Sharks. Askarov will take over soon. They'll have another great pick this year. I don't see them as a Buffalo type team. They've made good moves and drafted well. Going to be a fun team to follow the next several years.

If I had my druthers (and I don't) I'd take Anaheim over the Sharks any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Not sure if it was an anamoly but, what the Ducks looked like vs us, and in comparison the Sharks, the Ducks look like they have waaaaay more talent and an upside. Yeah, the Ducks took us by surprise (Shame on the Rangers), and we seemed so much on point vs Sharks (as well they should be after being embarrassed) so, things can be misleading, still all and all, I'll bet on the Ducks over Sharks for relevancy in this league, moving forward. Where our Ranger will be.......is anybody's guess. Guess that'll have everything to do with Drury (or being replaced, hell yeah) and our NEW Coach(Torts please)

Maybe they had no choice but it's been 7 years and they're the worst team in the NHL. There's nothing enviable about that. I rather have a 3 year shitty period and be in the final 4 two of three seasons.

This to me is what is most maddening (to me). People here want to complain and complain while totally forgetting (conveniently) that the Stanley Cup is the most difficult thing in the world to acquire. (Aside from sexual longevity, and a woman that 's worth your time and effort). So, what you've stated we HAVE been relevant (regardless that we haven't been the favorites, etc.) and it's still "not good enough" because we haven't captured the brass ring. I'm truly sorry, but the way I look at things, I'm THANKFUL for every "extra game" beyond the 82 game schedule. I get to watch my favorite team, (win or lose) for more games with a fighters chance of moving on, or my re-living my miraculous "1969" Mets W.S. Victory. Again, rather be there, than not. I feel terribly sorry for those Buffalo fans, of the Sabres and more specifically for those Bills fans. Horrific X2.

Sounds very possible. They need PO experienced players. They "poached" Ryan Strome from US (lmao), so they kind of owe us one.

People are going crazy with a mediocre team. Imagine a terrible team, now Imagine a terrible team for more than half a decade. People think too highly of themselves if they think that high end prospects will be enough to make everyone happy. They'll start bitching about them by game 5 of their rookie season or will find reasons to want to trade them like they do Fox.

Too bad we haven’t gone into a full rebuild like the sharks. 7 years in a row no playoffs and still the worst team in the league.
