And some “fans” are just cheerleaders. Some “fans” aren’t really fans.

I think it was more so our Defence couldn't get the puck out so they were hemmed. The 4th line was good in game 1 but was awful last night. Like 35% xGF bad. Podkolzin for example was out high danger chances 3-10 5v5. Florida only has 15 high danger chances all game. He was on the ice for 2/3 for him.
They were the only guys that had though. Podkolzin and Arvidsson were awful last night. Kapanen and the whole third line too.I think it was more so our Defence couldn't get the puck out so they were hemmed.
That's weird I don't recall us getting blown out twice 6-1 at home yet, cause that's what the Leafs did. You think that was close to Oiler's best game? Did you watch any of the other games this playoff? Oilers have won on the road in every series so far this year. Florida has lost at home in every series so far this year.lol this wasn’t even close to their best game, that’s a delusional take.
If you are calling their middle 6 2 3rd lines than that would make our bottom 6, what, 2 AHL top lines?
Oilers played their best game in game 1 and played good outside the 2nd last night. Florida has played 2 good periods and mostly meh outside of that.
Crazy that Toronto looked miles better against Florida than we have.
Yet there he was in double OT laying a beauty of a pass right on the tape for Kapanen who botched it.The 4th line was good in game 1 but was awful last night. Like 35% xGF bad. Podkolzin for example was out high danger chances 3-10 5v5. Florida only has 15 high danger chances all game. He was on the ice for 2/3 for him.
Toronto won both games at home to start the series. That's weird I don't recall us getting blown out twice 6-1 at home yet, cause that's what the Leafs did. One good play doesn’t negate 4 periods of bad ones.Yet there he was in double OT laying a beauty of a pass right on the tape for Kapanen who botched it.
You need to relax. Only 2 games in. He isn't even top 3 conn smythe candidate including the 2 teams if you were voting today. Mcdavid, drai and Bennet all ahead of him if you were voting today. And it's only 2 games into final. Over a seven game series oilers will get to him. He already lost first gameOver 40 shots to games in a row alot of match saving saves….Without him the gates would have been open both games of the series….Many more diffcult saves than Skinner for example!
That’s conn smythe if you ask me….
He’s still the best goalie in the series. Not MVP caliber but better than Skinner. Which is a problem if this continue though. You need to relax. Only 2 games in. I most certainly would have if that puck had gone in the net. And it should have. One good play doesn’t negate 4 periods of bad ones.
The point is I'm not sure why you think winning a game in Florida is some sort of insurmountable obstacle because nothing so far in this playoff from either team indicates that being true. I don't think the manner of winning or losing means much to this team objectively. They have shown multiple times the ability to just move on.Toronto won both games at home to start the series.
And? Both Edmonton and Florida have won all their series, your point? The fact is Florida played bad for 2 games and Edmonton played great in game 1 and good in game 2 and they still took the split and both games to overtime. This double OT loss is going to be a tough one to swallow.
Hey I’m hoping I’m wrong and they come out flying game.
Florida played bad, Edmonton played good, Florida took us to OT in both and won 1.The point is I'm not sure why you think winning a game in Florida is some sort of insurmountable obstacle because nothing so far in this playoff from either team indicates that being true. sign him then scratch him LMAoFriedman on his 32 Thoughts pod today says that Trent Frederic and the Oilers are closing in on a new contract for next season. Interesting.
If our PP gets going and Skinner plays average, we win the series.Florida played bad, Edmonton played good, Florida took us to OT in both and won 1.
What happens when Florida plays good?
Florida is going home with tons of confidence and Edmonton is going to be really doubting their game after their home stand. Florida took us lightly last year and almost paid for it. They won’t this time.
Now is not the time to shit on skinner. Despite your dark outlook we still have a good chance to win the cupHe’s still the best goalie in the series. Not MVP caliber but better than Skinner. Which is a problem if this continue though.
ya, not a fan, but his injury has probably hampered his game big time. If he is signed, I guess Stan sees him turning it around next season. Stan has been pretty good with his assessments.sign him then scratch him LMAo
Kappy, Jankmark, are kings of great chances but not finishing. Hyman is such a huge loss.I most certainly would have if that puck had gone in the net. And it should have.
High ankle sprains can take months to recover from.ya, not a fan, but his injury has probably hampered his game big time. If he is signed, I guess Stan sees him turning it around next season. Stan has been pretty good with his assessments.
100%Now is not the time to shit on skinner. Despite your dark outlook we still have a good chance to win the cup
After a loss, maybe a couple of potential changesIf our PP gets going and Skinner plays average, we win the series.
Bobrovsky is just unreal. The amount of sideshow trapeze cirque du soleil saves he made last night are more than Skinner has made in his life.
The teams are pretty evenly matched. Shame we don’t have Hyman. I do believe we need to put Jeff Skinner in for some goal scoring touch. Too many shifts of anemic do-nothings in our bottom 9.
Couldn’t assess that he was injured enough that he wasted assets to pay for retention.ya, not a fan, but his injury has probably hampered his game big time. If he is signed, I guess Stan sees him turning it around next season. Stan has been pretty good with his assessments.
