We worked so hard at the end there, sucks to come up just short, the effort was there at times.

One positive thing...our top two centers absolutely dominated their faceoffs. Bozak was 85%, Grabo was 77%.

Thank you Pominville for making things interesting lol. Leafs had an OK game. Pretty terrible mental lapses cost the team 2 goals. Can't complain too much about the offence - miller is a beast (hate him).

With this system, I expect a lot of close low scoring games this season. Only question is what side of the fence will we mostly finish on?

with any other goalie than scrivens we would have won. I told you before it even started. You can't start home seasons at home with these rookie goalies. Get them out of town. Trade for a goalie and WIN these low scoring carlyle games.
It was a close one and scrivens was not the guy we needed to play. Get him out and we scored and almost won immediately.

We also won almost every faceoff in the game. Nice.
I also knew that starting with scrivens will cost us the points. We need a different goalie for home games.
